• With this REQUEST for INFORMATION, the Procurement Services of the North Ostrobothnia welfare area Konsrnilavevanten Hankintapalvelut maps the market for symptom EKG measuring devices in order to get an overview of the symptom EKG measuring devices on the market, their providers and operating costs.
  Symptom-ECG measurement devices are being designed for use in the pediatric and adult cardiology units of Oulu University Hospital (OYS). With the symptom-ECG measuring device, it must be possible to register the electrical activity of the heart (ECG) during the patient's symptom outside the hospital with an accuracy of at least 6 channels. In addition, there will be a symptom-ECG measuring device enables the measurement of the patient's ECG signal as one-channel and at least six-channel without separate ECG electrodes to be attached to the patient (for example, by measuring the ECG through the thumbs or other surface parts of the body).
  The number of symptomatic EKG follow-ups for pediatric patients is approximately 50-60 patients annually, regarding both patients with congenital heart diseases and previously healthy children and adolescents with suspected arrhythmias. The number of symptomatic ECG monitoring of adult patients is approximately 20-40 patients annually.
