- This announcement is a request for information related to the market dialogue. This is neither a request for tender nor a procurement announcement.
Kela is planning to acquire translation and language maintenance services. The greatest needs concern the translation of the following language pairs:
Spanish Finnish, Finnish Spanish,
Polish Finnish, Finnish Polish
Frencha Finnish, Finnish French
German Finnish. Finnish German
Estonian Finnish, Finnish Estonian
Italian Finnish, Finnish Italian
Russian Finnish, Finnish Russian.
Furthermore, Kela needs a small amount of translations from Finnish to foreign languages other than the above and Finnish translations from other foreign languages as well. Kela plans the projectplease order these translation and language maintenance orders primarily from service providers selected based on the upcoming tender. The Swedish and English translation and language maintenance services will not be part of this procurement.
Kela suspended the previous procurement procedure for the acquisition target on February 1.2024. The reason for suspending the procurement was the candidate's high reference requirements in rarer languages and the translators' high experience requirements in rarer languages compared to the service being procured. Kela has assessed that these factors restrict competition unnecessarily.
