- BACKGROUND AND PROCUREMENT TARGET is preparing a tender for server procurement for the years 2026 - 2030. The procurement target will be servers and accessories, licenses and services integrally related to them. Acquisition according to the preliminary plan implemented as a framework arrangement for which four to five contract suppliers are selected. Procurement during the framework arrangement is carried out using priority order or requests for tenders. Services refers to the delivery, installation and maintenance of equipment and maintenance-related and similar services. Accessories mean, for example, hard drives, disk shelves, 3D accelerators, memories, riser cards, power supplies and other similar accessories integrally connected to servers. With software and licenses refer to software integrally connected to the device manufacturer's servers, such as management solutions. For the sake of clarity, it is stated that the acquisition target does not include servers that are related to transmission, distribution or broadcast use, and that have especially equipment manufacturers focused on this purpose.MARKET DIALOGUE As part of the procurement preparation, Yle organizes a market dialogue.
