- Description:
- Aalto University (hereafter the Client) has started a project to transform a building designed by Alvar Aalto on the Otaniemi campus into a modern and energy-efficient data center. The project must be completed and in use no later than February 28, 2027.
Responsible for the renovation of the building Aalto University Properties Oy. This purchase concerns the overall technical delivery of the data center to be implemented inside the building, excluding the servers. The procurement is carried out as a total responsibility contract (total responsibility contract or KVR contract).
The selected supplier is responsible for the technical systems of the data center and comprehensive design of the furniture, equipment delivery, installation and commissioning in accordance with the technical and functional requirements set by the Customer and the given schedules.
Totally responsible delivery can include construction engineering implementations, such as penetrations. The supplier is required to work in close cooperation with the party responsible for the renovation and to coordinate his own plans and installation work seamlessly with the construction work carried out by the party responsible for the renovation.
Everyone's responsible persons must be able to act
orally and in writing in Finnish and all project documents are made in Finnish.
