Description:
The city of Helsinki's urban environment department asked for offers for the plants of the Longinojanpuisto flying squirrel compensation and Green Cities projects. The suppliers have been selected based on overall economic affordability. Seedlings are needed for two nature-based plants for park construction projects. Sub-area 1: In the Green Cities project of Longinojanpuisto, a ditch will be modified, in which flood water absorption basins will be built. The vegetation has been chosen based on the clay soil and wetness. Section 2: Longinojanpuisto flying squirrel compensation project aims to restore the route trees suitable for flying squirrels in the area, but also food trees. The different ages of the trees are important so that suitable food, nests and route trees. The procurement belongs to category 1 in the dynamic procurement system of the City of Helsinki "Purchase of saplings and related services for the Helsinki urban environment industry".
