Description:
In Pirkanmaa Jatehuolto Oy's area of operation, waste transport organized by the municipality is in use for sludge generated in housing (excl. Nokia). As authorized by the Waste Act, the cooperatives have transferred the responsibility of organizing the prescribed waste management to Pirkanmaa Jatehuolto. In practice, the company competesaa sludge transports, organizes emptying, takes care of registers, customer service, invoicing and communication.
The service to be procured includes the collection of sludge generated in housing based on the information provided by the customer from the wastewater systems of the properties and transportn to the reception points specified by the subscriber. The contracts that will be tendered in their own areas will start on November 4, 2024.
Pirkanmaan Jatehuolto Oy invites interested service providers (entrepreneurs, transport companies) to participate in the market dialogue regarding procurement. The goal of dialogue is to tellabout the main points of the future acquisition and jointly specify matters related to the acquisition in order to achieve the best possible end result. Market dialogue does not ask for or give offers. The information provided in the market dialogue is treated confidentially and the information will be used exclusivelyfor the preparation of the purchase. The procurement unit is not obliged to carry out the procurement in the ways that emerge in the dialogue. Participating in the later competition does not require participation in the market dialogue.
