Description:
BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE
The city of Helsinki's urban environment department (hereafter KYMP) is preparing the acquisition of public urban spaces experiment planning and implementation services. Before starting the actual procurement procedure, KYMP surveys the market supply and willingness and offer interest in the framework arrangement in question and seeks answers to questions related to the procurement being prepared.
The actual procurement procedure will be done according to the preliminary estimate, to start in February 2026. According to the preliminary schedule, the tender is to be organized so that the framework agreements enter into force on July 1, 2026.
ACQUISITION BACKGROUND
The focus of placemaking activities is the participation of city residents, public spaces and neighborhoods co-development. The needs and wishes of children and young people are especially taken into account in the development of urban space. Placemaking activity is also an important tool in the city's segregation prevention work.
