The target of the market dialogue is the procurement of expert services for traffic safety impact calculation software (VALA) for the needs of the Norwegian Railways Agency.
BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVES
The object of the procurement is the Traffic Safety Impact Calculation Software (VALA) processing of the initial databases, updating the data and annual calculation of accident forecasts and costs using the updated initial data. The task may also include other expert services related to the assessment of traffic safety impacts.
With VALA software, estimateto the east, the current status of the safety of both roads and level crossings and the safety effects of the measures. The software for roads and level crossings has its own independent output databases, on which the software's calculation is based. Information from the source databases is also used by Vaeylaevirain operational planning and measurement of results.
The client's goal is to have the contract come into force at the beginning of 2025 and the initial contract period is 2025 2026 and the options are for 2027 2029.
