• MARKET DIALOGUE The Finnish Railways Agency will put out a tender for the framework contract related to the surveying of bar crossings for waterways. The framework agreement must contain orders for the bar raking related to the waterways. In addition to this, the framework agreement must contain other measurements and equipment needs related to waterways, such as sounding surveys, magnetometer measurements, ROV surveys and mapping measurements, as well as ocean surveying vessels and expert services used for ocean surveying. Through the future framework agreement the ordered works may also concern research and development tasks (R&D tasks) belonging to the above area as well as other specialist tasks. It is planned to select a maximum of 6 suppliers as service providers for the framework agreement. The planned duration of the framework agreement would be two years after signing. The contract is planned to also include two (2) one (1) year contracts option year. The amount of work to be carried out within the scope of the framework arrangement is a total of approximately 400,000 - 600,000 euros per year and approximately 1.600.000 - 2,400,000 euros during the validity period of the framework arrangement, excluding value added tax. Tendering for the framework contract is planned to take place in January-February 2026. The object of the procurement may change and/or become more detailed as the preparation of the procurement progresses.
