- This announcement is related to the procurement procedure that Itärata Oy may later initiate to acquire GENERAL PLANNING CONSULTANTS for the project. Itärata Oy plans to launch the acquisition in March 2026 by publishing procurement notice. The general planning task applies to the entire project. The project area starts from the Lentorada tunnel with a 19 kilometer long tunnel section towards Porvoo, through which the rail line continues all the way to Koria. The total length of the track alignment is about 110 kilometers. The project area also covers more than 50 new bridges, the total length of which is about 6 kilometers, base reinforcements for about 40 kilometers, and noise protection for about 16 kilometers. In addition, a total of more than 50 highways will be built in the project area private road arrangements. The client has tentatively planned to divide the preparation of the master plan into two parts: Part A: Airline - Porvoo Part B: Porvoo - Koria The safety device, electric track and strong current skills required for general planning are acquired separately.
