• Description:
• The city of Turku is preparing two separate new construction projects, each of which consists of several kindergarten sites. The first project, comprising 7 daycare centers, will be implemented as a life-cycle project, and the second project, comprising 5 daycare centers, will be implemented as a rental model. Some of the daycare centers are completely new, while some are oldin the case of nursing homes, a new building will be built on the site to replace the old building that will be demolished. The number of places in the daycare centers that make up the sites varies between approximately 80 and 170 children.
  For the 7 daycare sites implemented as a life-cycle project, the procurement is intended to cover planning and construction work, mconditional demolition of the buildings located on the plot, as well as separately defined building maintenance and user services, so that the project implementer is responsible for the building's usability and conditions for a service period of approximately 20 25 years.As far as the city's landlord is concerned, the operator selected through tendering as the landlord is supposed to enter into a 20-year lease agreement with the city, within the framework of which the operator is responsible for the design and construction of daycare centers, and the demolition of any buildings located on the site, as well as construction during the lease period.maintenance of the snow.
