MARKET DIALOGUE
The Finnish Transport Agency and the City of Nokia invite journalists to a market dialogue, which will take place on November 6, 2023 from 12:30 to 14:00. The subject of the market dialogue is the development of the MAL Nokia railway yard, which is being prepared, a construction contract for the needs of the Norwegian Railway Agency and the city of Nokia.

BACKGROUND AND GOALS
The goal of the market dialogue is to have a discussion between the actors about the content, schedule and requirements of the project. In the market dialogue, the project plans and the schedule of the construction contract/work phasing are presentedta, to which the participants are asked for opinions.
The project includes changes to the track, switchgear, safety equipment and electrification systems of the Nokian yard, a new intermediate platform
with equipment and a level change to the underpass, a new station underpass and demolition of the current underpass, a new connecting parking area and
Measures related to the improvement of Tanhuankatu.
