This announcement is a preliminary announcement and an invitation to market dialogue.
The purpose of the announcement is to give the market advance information about the future acquisition.
The city of Helsinki plans Malmi's new one implementation of the hospital, family center and health and wellness center as a cooperative project management contract or alliance. The total scope of the project is approx. 77,000 brm2, of which the share of basic improvement and changes is approx. 3,000 brm2 and the share of new construction is approx. 74,000 brm2. Ore new the planning area for the hospital and family center and the health and wellness center is located on three different plots. The total area of the planning area is approximately 38,000 m2. The implementation also includes the necessary demolition work, yard work and finishing the plot, and possibly also the so-called Infra works such as the transfer of the Winterlands.
The tentatively planned contract period is spring 2026 - autumn 2035. The tentatively planned two-phase development phase will end in June 2028. The first development phase is planned to end in March 2027, including the preparation of a project plan and project cost estimate for the project decision. In the second development phase, the design work will continue with the start of construction and e.g. for building permits. The planned start date of the construction works is in the fall of 2028, and the construction will initially be divided into three different phases.
