Description:
The city of Hyvinkaa is planning together with Laurea-ammattikorkeakoulu Oy the procurement of Hyvinkaa Areena's restaurant and cleaning services and possible other services.
Hyvinkaa Areena, owned by the city of Hyvinkaa and built near the train station, will be completed in the spring of 2027. The arena is a hybrid building that houses the multipurpose facilities designed for sports and event use, the teaching facilities of the Laurea University of Applied Sciences, and the restaurant facilities that support these functions. The city and Laurea University of Applied Sciences are currently planning the Areena the procurement of services and the scope and content of services to be tendered. The procurement concerns at least restaurant and cleaning services, as well as possible other related services.
The restaurant services are intended to include at least for the staff of the Laurea University of Applied Sciences and services related to lunch catering offered to students and hall users. Laurea's lunch meals should be offered from August to May on weekdays between 10.45 and 13.00. In 2024, the number of lunch meals was an average of 88 lunches per day. Student meals must be organized by Kela with meal allowance.
In addition to lunch meals, it is possible to connect cafeteria services, drink and food vending machines and/or 24/7 service points to the restaurant services as well as meeting, representation and order catering, and possibly also organizing catering for events in the hall.
