- This is not a pre-announcement, a procurement announcement or a request for tenders, but rather an announcement about starting a market dialogue as part of the planning of the tendering process for the procurement. Lapland's welfare area surveys the interest of market players and opinions regarding the planned bidding process for transportation services for the deceased. The plan is to implement the purchase in the Lapland welfare area. According to the plan, there will be a total of seventeen (17) parts of the procurement. With providers there will be an opportunity to submit a bid for one or more areas. Service providers will be selected separately for each area. The provider can thus become a selected service provider for one or more areas. The plan the respective areas of procurement are expressed in more detail in the "Service description (preliminary)" appendix to this invitation. The length of the contract periods of the contracts to be concluded will probably be valid indefinitely. The dates of entry into force of agreements in different areas may vary depending on the expiry date of the valid agreement in that sub-region, however, so that in all cases the agreement will enter into force during 2026. The target publication date of the request for tender is Q1/2026 (January-March 2026).The purpose of this announcement is to collect and share information for the future procurement of transportation services for the deceased and to enable a dialogue between the welfare area of Lapland and potential providers.
