Description:
The Helsinki Metropolitan Area City Transport Oy is starting a tendering for drivers' work clothes. There is one (1) comprehensive supplier of the acquisition as a supplier of drivers' workwear supplier to be responsible for the manufacture, storage, delivery, possible repairs, and responsible recycling and destruction. Preliminary requirements for the service can be found in the service description attached to this invitation. For the schedule, the service is expected to be introduced as of 1.1.2025. There are currently about 730 drivers in urban traffic, of which there are about 530 tram drivers and about 200 metro train drivers. The number of drivers is growing and estimated at the end of this year the number of drivers is about 900. Tram and metro train drivers are a prominent part of the public corporate image of urban traffic and it is important that the drivers have a uniform workwear and that the clothing has a uniform color set and the collection serves different seasons.
