- The Lapland Welfare Area is preparing the acquisition of its staff and occupational health services (Occupational Health Care Act TTHL 1383/2001, Section 4; Health Care Act 1326/2010, 18). Currently, occupational health services are organized with a multi -producer model and contracts are coming to an end at the end of 2024. Lapland's welfare area provides its staff as an occupational health care service for both statutory preventive occupational health care services and an occupational health care service. The organization of occupational health services is in its entirety. As regards the organization, the various options for purchasing services and a bonding unit are evaluated. The meeting of the Lapland Welfare Regional Government on June 26, 2024, is the provision of occupational health services, which at the same time decides to which areas will apply for a service provider through tendering.
