THE SUBJECT-MATTER OF THE PROCUREMENT
Target of this procurement is a continuous flow isotope ratio mass spectrometer (CF-IRMS) intended for the use of measuring stable isotope ratios at the Stable Isotope Laboratory of Luke at the Natural Resources Institute Finland.
The Stable Isotope Laboratory of Luke performs stable isotope analyses of natural samples with the research focus of forestry, agriculture and related environmental sciences. The laboratory currently hosts a Sercon 20-22 Stable Isotope Ratio Mass Spectrometer with Europa EA-GSL Sample Preparation System (Sercon), HT-EA unit (Sercon) and a Cryoprep-2 unit (Sercon) all operated with Callisto (v3011) program. Also housed in the laboratory is a UV-laser ablation system LSX-213 G , operating on a Chromium (2.4.) Program, manufactured by Teledyne Photon Machines, which is coupled with the Cryoprep-2 unit and the Sercon 20-22.
The target of this procurementis a stable isotope ratio mass spectrometer (IRMS), which will be coupled with the combination of peripherals including the Cryoprep-2 and LSX-213 G units housed in the laboratory.
