Description:
The city of Mikkeli is requesting bids for handling school transportation on the Otava school route. The request for bids concerns the handling of school transportation based on a public transport permit or taxi permit for the Otava school during the contract period from 1 January 2026 to 31 December 2026. At the time of the request for bids, it is not yet known the start or end date of all semesters. The tender is open to anyone who has the right to engage in purchase transport and who has the appropriate equipment for the destination. In this call for tenders, the purchase transport of chartered transport means that carried out on the basis of a public transport permit or a taxi permit passenger traffic, which is regular, the management of which is based on the agreement regarding the purchase of services concluded with the city of Mikkeli. The city of Mikkeli reserves the right to make possible route changes and to combine transports of different destinations with each other, e.g. student situation, if so required by lesson schedules or school network changes, before the contract and also during the contract period. Destination-specific routes, kilometers and passenger volume estimates are explained in the appendices of the request for tender. When making an offer, the operator must take into account that the information is indicative and that the purpose is to make it easier to submit an offer. The object must be offered as a price per kilometer, euro / kilometer (VAT 0%). There is no motive power requirement for the object.
