- Description:
- The request for tenders concerns building materials and timber to be procured for the needs of the city of Pori and procurement services cooperatives. The contract period is planned to start on June 1, 2026. The start schedule is an estimate and the contract is only created in writing with contract signatures. The actual contract period is valid until May 31, 2027. The contract includes an option to extend the contract indefinitely, with a notice period of six (6) months. Procurement services and the decision will be communicated to the suppliers in good time. The procurement is divided into two sub-areas, for each of which a maximum of three (3) bidders with the most points will be selected. The procurement will form a framework arrangement for two target groups: Part 1. Building materials Part 2. Construction timber. A maximum of three (3) suppliers with the highest total points will be selected for both target groups. The products to be competed for are detailed in the procurement target criteria section. Basic building materials are distributed to the following product groups: - mortars - blocks and bricks - building insulation. Construction timber is divided into the following product groups - sawn timber - fiber boards - cover and skirting boards.
