- GENERAL Please note that this is a preliminary announcement (hereinafter referred to as an announcement) and this announcement does not yet solicit offers. The information given in the notification is preliminary and may change as the preparation progresses. The goal is that the final call for tenders will be published in March 2024. PROCUREMENTNAN'S TARGET Natural Resources Center has started the preparation of the tender for the gas chromatograph-mass spectrometer (GC-MS) equipment. The equipment mainly analyzes compounds obtained from biomass. In the procurement preparation phase, the aim is to map out what kind of gas chromatography industrytest systems can be connected to a mass spectrometer and how sample pretreatment in connection with gas chromatography can be automated before analysis. A gas chromatograph can also include separation with two different columns (GCxGC) and detectors may be needed alongside the mass spectrometer. Acquisitionin the preparation phase, information is also acquired about various mass spectrometry detectors and applicable ionization methods. The hardware configuration also includes the software to be used and the programs and libraries for identifying compounds. Comprehensive training is also included in the procurementand the necessary software for data processing as well as hardware maintenance service.
