Description:
Raseborgs Energi Ab / Raaseporin Energia Oy is acquiring a new bio-heating center in Karjaa.
The new heating center will be built on the same plot as the existing bio-heating center at Timpurintie 9, Karjaa. The existing heating center will remain in use. Scope of delivery of the new heating centerincludes all the equipment needed for heat production, such as a solid fuel boiler (later KPA boiler), pumps, heat exchangers, flue gas cleaning equipment, as well as electrification and automation. The existing fuel reception will be utilized for the new facility: Fuel handthe modifications required by ttely can be offered as a voluntary option. A heating center building can be offered as a voluntary option. Earthworks and foundation work are not included in the scope.
The KPA boiler must have a nominal output of at least 7.0 MW and at most 9.0 MW. The fuels are wood chips such asforest energy, bark and sawdust and briquettes. In addition, the facility will be equipped with a flue gas heat recovery scrubber system.
The goal of the procurement unit is to sign the procurement contract for the contract during August 2023. The commissioning of the new facility is planned to be carried out during the autumn of 2024 and on a regular basisheat production will start in December 2024. The procurement unit reserves the right to specify the schedule as the negotiation procedure progresses.
