- The procurement is the fundamental improvement of the civil shelter in Karstulantie as a fixed-price total contract, where the contractor of construction works acts as the main contractor and the main executor as intended by the legislation (YSE 1998). The contract includes all the works and utilities presented in the plans of the basic improvement projectcomplete with night and the necessary subcontracts and implemented to full operational condition.
With the basic improvement of the shelter's structures and technical equipment, the population shelter will be in such a condition that the operation of the crisis time is secured. For this purpose, wall structures are being renovated in the population shelter, etca technical equipment and installations are renewed and space changes are made. The contract also includes excavation and demolition of existing structures, as well as clearing work in the outdoor area. A more detailed description of the characteristics of the civilian shelter and the content of the contract can be found in the attached documents of the tender request.
Nounder normal conditions, after renovation, it is possible to rent the civil shelter for, for example, storage and other similar functions.
