Description:
Interior changes are being made on the 3rd floor of the F section of the Aalto University College of Chemical Engineering building located in the Otaniemi district of Espoo. Part F was completed in 1985. Changes are being made in the high hall space of the building part. To the hall a new biotechnology laboratory and technical space will be built in the space. The area of the new laboratory space will be approximately 126 m2 when completed, and the technical space to be built to serve the space will be approximately 7 m2 in size. The goal is build an indoor climate- and temperature-controlled laboratory space. Attention is paid to the soundproofing of the new laboratory. Laboratory furniture, fume cupboards, targeted exhausts and new water points will be placed in the laboratory. The changes include a significant number of new building technical installations and e.g. new ventilation and water cooling machine. A new liquid cooler will be placed on the water roof. The contractor is required to familiarize himself with the site before submitting an offer. A bidder who has not familiarized himself with the object are excluded from the tender.
