- The Oulu Museum and Science Center requests your offer for Kierikki's cafe-restaurant services (hereinafter also "subscribers") in accordance with this request for tender and its attachments. utilizing the resources provided. Cafe operations are carried out in the premises managed by Oulu Museum and Science Centre, Kierikki, Pahkalantie 447, Oulu (Yli-Ii). Kierikki is a science center about the Stone Age, whose activities are based on archaeological research data. It consists of the Ancient Center and a Stone Age village, where prehistory comes alive again. Kierikki is located in Yli-Ii, on the north bank of the Iijoki at Pahkakoski, approx. 60 km from the center of Oulu. Kierikki is open to the public from June to September, in winter time open by appointment for groups. The annual number of visitors to Kierikki in the years 2017-2024 has been around 9,800 on average. The goal is to increase the number of visitors. There are many families with children as visitors. Domestic and international tourists visit during the high season daily. In May and September-October, a total of about 4,500 schoolchildren (5th graders) go to Kieriki. It is hoped that the cafe-restaurant will also be open during school seasons, although Kierikki is not open to the public in May and in October. The premises of the cafe-restaurant are located in the Kierikin Ancient Center (main building). The restaurant's kitchen facilities are 67 m² and the restaurant's public spaces are approx. 140 m², a total of approx. 207 m². With the cafe-restaurant in the same building...
