Description:
The object of the procurement is the basic improvement of the Kannelmaki daycare center as a fixed-price total contract, where the contractor of the construction works acts as the main contractor and the main executor as intended by the legislation (YSE 1998). As the main contractor, the contractor is responsible for site management duties and site services and occupational safety. The extent of the current daycare building, which is subject to basic improvement construction, is approximately 750 gross square meters. The basic improvement project in the building includes the repair of moisture and microbial damage, facades and water roof structures, as well as the building's surface structures and building technology and the renewal of the kindergarten yard. The project includes demolition work outside the facade and water roof. All wall and ceiling structures as well as the floor of the first floor will be renewed up to the load-bearing structure. The demolition work inside the building has already been done by the customer. the planned start date is January 2026. The contract period is 10 months. The site is located in the Kaarela district of Helsinki at the street address Kanneltie 1A, 00420 Helsinki. The daycare center is located on the same plot as the Kannelmaki elementary school, which must be taken into account when carrying out the renovation.Helsinki the city's goal is to reduce the emissions generated at contract sites in accordance with the "Emission-free construction site green deal" agreement.
