Description:
The contract includes the Koirasaari construction contract 2 and the oil pier renovation construction work to the extent indicated in the contract documents.
The developer is the Public areas service of the city of Helsinki's urban environment department, which also acts as a subscriber in accordance with YSE 98.
According to the contract documents the works must be completed and received, and the inspections required by the authorities and inspecting institutions must be approved by 31 December 2027.
The type of contract is an overall contract, in which the contractor selected for the work acts as the main contractor as intended by YSE and Finnish legislation as the main implementer. The contractor is responsible for site management duties and site services.
On March 7, 2017, the YKT parties signed a cooperation agreement under the name "joint municipal engineering site", in which the city of Helsinki is named as the "main customer" and the other contracting parties as "customers". In this agreement The YKT parties are e.g. agreed on the appointment of a joint safety coordinator according to VNa 205/2009. All responsibilities of the main contractor mentioned in the commercial documents of this contract are transferred from the "customers" of the YKT site to the main contractor.
The contractor is listed in section 1.7 of the contract program YKT parties, and in section 3.4 separate contracts and other procurements by the developer. The procurement limits of the YKT parties are also specified in the contract limit appendix.
