Description:
The object of the acquisition is the new building of the Tikkurila knowledge campus, Kortteli 1, and the overall planning of the plot, which is ordered from one company. The acquisition exceeds the EU threshold value and will be implemented through an accelerated limited procedure.
The city of Vantaa has completed a needs assessment and projectfrom the object of the e-plan. VTK Kiinteistoet Oy will acquire and carry out the design and construction of the project until completion. The form of contract for the site is a project management contract, taking into account that the designers are in a contractual relationship with VTK Kiinteistoet Oy throughout the project.
Kortteli 1 -uudisrakennus is an educational building that will be located in the area of the Tikkurila competence campus, near the Tikkurila train station. The site is exceptionally demanding in terms of design. The project area also has challenging ground conditions. The Kortteli 1 new building includes three spaces for a total of 2,615 studentsfrom different educational institutions: Vantaa Vocational College from Varia, Tikkurila high school and Vantaa adult college. The site is estimated to have 7 floors. The scope of the project according to the project plan is 29,320 brm2 and the volume is 171,180 rm3. The area of the plot is approx. 7900 m2.
The object of the acquisition are the next part of the projectlisted design services, which are ordered as a complete design:

- architectural design
- interior design
- structural design
- base structure design (geodesign)
- HVACJSPR design
- electrical, telecommunication and security design (incl. lighting design)
