- Description:
- The contract is located in the city of Turku, in the Iso-Heikkilä part of the city, in the area of Turku Tavara and Puistokatu AKS. Turku goods is VAK railway yard. The contract involves installing a new gear V963 with related work. The gear will be installed in the park street bridge area and its through there will be access to track R045 to the passenger port of Turku and in the direction of Turku goods to track R100. The installation and connection of the heating transformer of the gear is part of the contract. The electrical circuit adjustments related to the installation of the gear are part of the contract. Three will be installed in the contract track insulation. In the contract, V404 will be replaced with a straight track section. V404 is located on the tracks of Turku's freight station. The contractor dismantles the track R100 rkm 201+000-201+205. Dismantled rails and sleepers are used when installing V963 and replacing V404 with a straight track. The cable duct system is being dismantled in numbers 201+000-201+205. In the contract, two electric lines will be installed from the pole to the foundation. The contractor has traffic interruptions agreed by the customer for installations. The service interruption on the Turku passenger harbor track R045 has been agreed on June 8, 2026 at 9.00-12.6.2026 at 6.00 p.m. The construction works must be ready on the tracks for the start of commissioning by 6.00 a.m. on 11.6.2026 A traffic stop has been scheduled in the direction of the Turku freight port on 10.6.2026 from 7.00 a.m. to 9.00 p.m., after which traffic must be allowed to pass through Turku to the cargo port. The necessary supports and subsequent supports are part of the contract.
