• The city of Kuusamo is bidding for an expert service to draw up the Kuusamo city center development vision 2045 as part of the project Climate wise, vibrant Kuusamo city center - Kuusamo city center development vision 2045. The goal of the vision is to guide the city center in the long term development in such a way that it supports climate change containment and adaptation, the operating conditions of businesses and the functionality, comfort and accessibility of the built environment. drawing up a development vision with a participatory design process and carrying out analyzes and reports that support the vision work. The work utilizes existing reports and plans and involves extensive participation of stakeholders, such as residents, entrepreneurs, decision-makers and other operators. The procurement is divided into two parts: 1. participative vision work, which includes initial data analysis, involvement of stakeholders and drawing up a vision and action program, and2. the analyzes supporting the vision work, to which canopy coverage analysis (item 1) and green network plan and stormwater management review (item 2) are included. The schedules of the parts are indicative and more detailed schedules will be agreed upon with the selected service provider/s in the procurement contract.
