Description:
Direct procurement focuses on laboratory supplies for the YTA area (Northern Ostrobothnia welfare area, the welfare area of Lapland, the wellness area of the Central Ostrobothnia and the Kainuu Welfare Area). The acquisition period begins to become final and ends when new tendering agreements comeFor the effect, however, by April 30, 2026. Discussion will continue to continue the contracts for laboratory supplies, which ended on 31.5.2025. The agreements have been drawn up between the Northern Ostrobothnia Hospital District and selected suppliers to cover the OYS system. Agreements have moved to Northern OstrobothniaIn the welfare area 1.1.2023. The reasons for the direct acquisition are that the conclusion of a contract is absolutely necessary and that the time limits are not enacted for the extreme urgency caused by an unforeseen reason (Section 40 (2) (4) of the Procurement Act).Acquisition is essential for patient safety and direct procurement is needed to cover the time needed to prepare new tendering. The total value of the acquisition of 10 months is for YTA area n 600,000€.
