The acquisition includes hospital districts of the Tampere University Hospital Special Responsibility District; Pirkanmaa and Kanta-Häme hospital districts, their provincial aid centers, and the aid services and units of these member municipalities, except for the Southern Ostrobothnia Hospital District. The Regional Auxiliary Center combines the activities of the Auxiliary Center and the municipal aid services. The Auxiliary Center is responsible for the specialist medical assistance service and for primary health care providing aids.
