• Description:
• The city of Loimaa is requesting offers for meal transport for the period (target) 1 June 2026-31 May 2028. In addition, there is an option in the procurement to extend the procurement for the period June 1, 2028-May 31, 2029. The goal of the procurement is to get a reliable, experienced and a contractual partner that takes environmental issues into account. In procurement, one service provider is selected. The object of the procurement is Loimaa city's meal deliveries to the city's schools and early childhood education offices in thermotransport boxes. To some extent also transported other foodstuffs from the production kitchen to the offices. The service provider picks up the meal boxes from the Puistokatu school's kitchen facilities (puistokatu 16, 32200 Loimaa) and delivers the meal boxes to the premises of the offices' distribution kitchens. Offices regarding the transports apply to the operating days of the aforementioned units. Meal delivery containers are returned to the place of departure from the offices. Annex 1 of the tender request (tender form) states the current delivery points and the average number of thermo boxes and the number of boxes size. These may change during the procurement period. The meal delivery service must also operate in disruption situations and exceptional circumstances, where the operation of schools and daycare centers is maintained for as long as possible. Offers must be given on a performance basis, where the delivery is the delivery order/delivery route. Tarjoja defines the distribution routes necessary for service production.
