- The object of the procurement is the procurement of loose furniture and lighting for the lobby and restaurant area of the University of Helsinki's Biokeskus 1, as well as the renovation of old furniture.
Biokeskus 1 is a laboratory building designed by Kaarina Loefstroem, which was the first of the biocenters to be completed in 1995. The building is Viikin kthe central laboratory buildings of ampus as well as an important dining and meeting place on campus.
The building project will modernize the property's canteen and lobby facilities. The focus of the renovation is on making the operation of the restaurant area more efficient and on improving dining comfort. Comforts of the dining situationthis is improved with various acoustic and furniture solutions. The spaces to be equipped are partly restaurant spaces, which means that maintenance of the furniture and cleaning have been taken into account in the structural and material solutions.
With the improvement of the restaurant area, broader functional goals have also been set for the premises. In accordance with the revitalization of Viikki's urban environment and the basic mission of the university, the framework for learning and meeting must be improved in the current building. From the point of view of the different users of the campus area, the facilities must be able to be used more flexibly and versatilely.
The furniture to be purchased is divided into four(4) to the procurement entity. You can submit an offer for one or more furniture groups. Based on the tender, a supplier is selected for each furniture group.
