Description:
1. Background of the acquisition
Our server needs are three virtual servers with a total capacity of: 18 vCPU, 24 GB RAM, 750 GB disk space. As an operating system in all Ubuntu Linux.
Developmental Disabilities Association develops and maintains several online services, the largest of which is the Papunet web service (www.papunet.net). It contains information, material and tools to support communication, as well as accessible materials and applications for people who need support in communication. The online service consists of approx. 200 from a separate service and application, and annually there are about 2 million visitors. In addition, we maintain e.g. Verneri web service (www.verneri.fi) and the Swedish Association of Developmental Disabilities (www.kehitysvammaliitto.fi) and its units' own pages.
Developmental Disabilities Association promotes the special needs of people with intellectual disabilities and others to support the equality and participation of people in need in learning, understanding and communication in society. Our main financier is the Assistance Center for Social and Health Organizations (STEA).
2. Description of the procurement
We are tendering the administration of our internet servers from 01.04.2026 until further notice. The procurement will be tendered because the server procurements of the previous and future years will probably exceed the national tender limit of 60,000 euros as a whole.
