Description:
GENERAL Fingrid Oyj is the national electricity transmission system operator of Finland. Fingrid owns and operates nine (9) reserve power plants for electricity transmission grid protection application. Two (2) of these power plants are based in total on sixteen (16) Rolls-Royce Avon 1533L gas generators and eight (8) English Electric / GEC EA2 power turbines. Two (2) of these power plants are based in total on six (6) Pratt & Whitney JT4A-11 gas generators and six (6) Stal PP4 power turbines. One (1) of these power plants are based in total on one (1) Pratt & Whitney GG4 C gas generator and one (1) P&W FT4 power turbine. One (1) of these power plants are based in total on four (4) Pratt & Whitney GG8 gas generator and two (2) P&W FT8 power turbines. The scope of the Service to be procured covers the annual maintenance of the gas generators, troubleshooting and engineering, fault repair, related other services and limited inspections of the power turbines. With this request to participate Fingrid is looking for interested suppliers for the service described in this document.
