• The community and environmental services of the city of Oulu are requesting your offer for management of urban forests in the areas they manage (hereinafter also "subscribers") in accordance with this request for tenders and its appendices from 19 May 2026 to 31 December 2026 + possible option years 2027, 2028 and 2029. The city of Oulu has a total of approx. 20,000 ha of forest areas under its control. There are approximately 4,500 hectares of these forests in the site plan area. The forests are managed according to the forest management and use plan and PEFC forest certification. The city of Oulu tenders and orders maintenance work for nearby forests. The management areas of this tender are mainly located in the urban planning area of ​​the city of Oulu (not included: Oulunsalo, Haukipudas, Kiiminki, Ylikiiminki, Yli-Ii). The work takes place in the settlement and streets being in the vicinity is technically demanding. Performing the work requires sufficient professionalism and the ability to work in challenging customer situations. Consideration of occupational safety is particularly important. Some of the ordered forestry works may be located in the site plan area outside. In addition, the work includes the clearing of storm damage in challenging locations in the site plan area or in their vicinity, such as recreation areas. The work to be ordered may include tasks related to technical logging. This agreement can be used also other city units and business establishments.
