• OBJECT OF THE PROCUREMENT The object of this framework arrangement is the maritime ship simulator services, which Finnpilot Pilotage Oy (later also the Client or procurement unit) uses for the statutory and voluntary training of its personnel, as well as the competence for verification. For the sake of clarity, it is stated that the scope of the framework agreements does not include the ship simulator tests in section 5.6.3 of the regulation TRAFICOM/452325/03.04.01.00/2022 or similar tests according to the regulation that later replaced this regulation. The framework arrangement is divided into four (4) independent framework arrangements (later also sub-areas) as follows: Sub-area 1: Ship simulator services - Southern Finland (Kotka, Emäsalo, Helsinki) Sub-area 2: Ship simulator services - Southwest Finland (Naantali and Hanko) Sub-area 3: Ship simulator services - Western Finland (Rauma and Pori) Sub-area 4: Ship simulator services - Northern Finland (Kokkola and Oulu) The tenderer can offer for either one or more sub-areas. Two are chosen for each sub-area (2) supplier in order of priority (ranking procedure). CONTRACT PERIOD The contract period is two (2) years. The customer has the right to extend the validity of the framework agreements with an option period of a maximum of two (2) years under the terms of the framework agreement.
