- The purpose of this request for information is to find out questions and price estimates related to the overall digital pathology solution that will be used by Fimlab Laboratoriot Oy (hereinafter "Fimlab" or the "procurement unit"). This is not a procurement notice or request for quotation, but request for market survey information, the aim of which is to comprehensively obtain additional information related to the planned acquisition, so that a possible future tender can be carried out as expediently as possible, taking into account the latest technologies and market trends. Fimlab invites interested suppliers to participate in the market survey and asks for your views regarding the planned acquisition. The procurement unit does not undertake to carry out the procurement that is the subject of the information request. Decisions starting a possible procurement process is done after the market survey. OBJECT OF PROCUREMENT The object of the acquisition is the digital pathology production system and related services. The acquisition includes glass scanners, server software, pathologists viewer software and image analysis software used on workstations, as well as centralized physical storage systems and related services. The goal of the acquisition is a modern and modular digital pathology solution that supports Fimlab operation and whose sub-components can be flexibly changed as technology develops and as Fimlab's needs change.
