• This is an invitation to a market dialogue for service procurement exceeding the EU threshold, not a procurement announcement. The city of Oulu invites service providers to a market dialogue regarding the preparation of the project plan for the Central Public Transport Corridor procurement. As an assignment it is intended to draw up a plan for the main public transport route between Pokkitörmä and Ylioppilaantie, which passes through the city center, which will be implemented in the first phase as a solution based on bus traffic. The object of the procurement is the trunk route of public transport general planning, construction feasibility study of the public transport tunnel, expansion study of parking facilities and project planning of the whole, which together are called the Plan. Three alternative route options are produced as a general plan draft with rough cost estimates that can be used to compare alternatives for decision-making. Based on the alternative to be decided, a feasible bus route adapted to the urban environment will be planned. The plan must make it possible in the future implementing a tram or superbus system. In the case of a tram or superbus, the review is limited to space reservations and solutions that do not prevent a later change, if the system is decided to be implemented in the future. Public transport tunnel the feasibility study includes the study of the public transport tunnel under the track and the tunnel intended for pedestrians and cyclists from Tehtaankatu to Hallituskatu.
