This announcement is an invitation to a market briefing. This announcement is not a preliminary announcement, a procurement announcement, a request for tenders, and the publication of the announcement does not start a tender. The city of Helsinki's urban environment industry procures infrastructure contracts worth around €400 million per year. Infrastructure contracts mainly consist of of street, park and bridge contracts. With the help of the market information event, we want to inform about future construction contracts, and the goal is that contractors can better reserve resources for future infrastructure procurements. The event will discuss the goals of responsible procurement require from contractors in future procurements. The event will be held remotely on January 15, 2026 at 12:30-2:30 p.m. Participation in the market information event requires registration by January 13, 2026 at 4:00 p.m. via e-mail: kymp.infrahankinnat@hel.fi. The e-mail should be titled as follows: "Market information event. 15.1.2026" When registering, the contact information (e-mail address) of the participant/participants must be given for sharing the Teams link. The market information event does not bind the City of Helsinki to start tendering processes. The schedules of future procurement projects are indicative and the start of tenders may be delayed from the planned schedule.
