• Market mapping / A-hospital C-wing repair project With this announcement, the Varsinais-Suomen welfare area starts a market survey and finds out the interest of suppliers in connection with the repair project of the C wing of the A-hospital. This announcement is not a procurement notice and not a request for tender. The purpose of this announcement is to inform the contractors in the market about the upcoming repair project and to hear their views regarding the planned work package. The well-being area of ​​actual Finland tenders the C-wing repair project of hospital A through the Hilma procurement portal, according to the preliminary plan as a limited procedure, i.e. a two-phase procedure. It is a construction contract exceeding the EU threshold and in accordance with preliminary plans the contract is tendered as a complete contract. The renovation of the facilities in the C wing of the A-hospital is a significant project, the purpose of which is to update the facilities to meet current requirements and needs while preserving the building's cultural-historical value. The building is protected with sr-1 designation, which means that it is of cultural-historical value and requires approvals from the museum for changes to the facade and elevators. Part C of the A-hospital was built in 1937 for residential use and its purpose of use was changed to hospital premises throughout the 1960s as the need for space grew.
