• PURPOSE OF PROCUREMENT The city of Lieto is preparing to hand over the right to use the restaurant and kitchen facilities of the town hall (Kirkkotie 13, Lieto) to a restaurant operator. In the same entity, the city acquires restaurant and meeting catering services for the city's own meetings and events. The operator can to offer lunch and cafeteria services on the premises for city staff, municipal residents and other customers. The procurement is intended to be tendered as a single entity, because the town hall has only one kitchen, and it is not appropriate or even possible to organize the operation of several different by the operator. The new contract is scheduled to start on September 1, 2027. The contract period for the acquisition is planned to be four (4) years + a two (2) year option period. More detailed information about the acquisition is below:- On average, approx. 50 customers dine in the City Hall's staff restaurant per day. Customers are both city employees and external customers. All customers pay the same price for their meal. - The annual VAT-free value of meeting and representation services is around 100,000 150,000 euros (VAT 0%). This is an estimate that does not bind the purchasing unit. The city does not commit either to order meeting catering only from the service provider in question.- The service provider has the right to use premises and equipment for events and restaurant services other than those of the city or its stakeholders, but the activity in question must not interfere with or otherwise be in conflict with this agreement meant...
