• The University of Turku is mapping the possibilities and implementation methods of acquiring an information system for the reception, administration, use and controlled and licensed sharing of original research materials. The information system should be suitable to store sensitive data in terms of data security and be suitable for archival use. The target of the mapping is finished software in production use in all respects. With the help of the information system, the aim is to guarantee the researchers of the University of Turku preservation, usability, availability and accessibility of the (digital) research materials produced and their metadata. The information system does not manage long-term, electronic archiving of digital research materials, but it is managed separately. This the notice is not a procurement notice or a request for tenders, and its publication does not start a tender. This is a market survey and a request for information related to the preliminary investigation for potential suppliers. We ask you to answer the information request in Appendix 1 questions, and we are happy to receive all kinds of comments about the possible definition of requirements and especially about the responsibility criteria (Appendix 2). In your answers, you can also highlight other functionalities or proposed solutions, which in your system is.
