• This announcement is a market survey. This is not a request for tenders. The Kanta-Häme welfare area (later the procurement unit) is planning a tender for an artificial intelligence-based interpreting solution. Ratkaisun tulisi olla käytettävissä Android-pohjaisella älypuhelimella. The procurement unit is primarily interested in solutions that are ready for use. The purpose is not to acquire a development project on the basis of which the necessary solution would be created. The solution should replace the traditional forms of interpreting as widely as possible. The solution would be used in situations where an employee of the procurement unit and a customer/patient have a conversation and the patient/customer speaks a language other than Finnish. The solution is not used for conversations where the customer/patient speaks Finnish language. The market survey is attached with a word document that contains questions. The procurement unit asks companies that have the ability to offer the described service to answer the questions presented in the document and return the completed form to procurement@omahame.fi. The form must be submitted by 4:00 p.m. on April 16, 2026. As part of the market survey, a second phase can also be arranged, where the procurement unit invites potential suppliers to one-on-one negotiations.
