- Natural Resources Institute Finland (Luke) is planning to purchase an ultrasound device for bovine veterinary purpose. The ultrasound equipment should provide measuring capability for bovine reproduction, joint diagnostics and beef carcass measurements. The device software should include loin muscle intramuscular fat measurement capability. The ultrasound device should have different probe attachability possibilities eg. linear endorectal, convex joint and linear carcass merit. The device should have the ability to save images and transfer data. The device and the probes should be easily disinfected. The equipment should be portable and robust enough for bovine practice use.
