Description:
In March-April 2024, ESE-Energia Oy tenders for the masonry works and the materials needed for annual maintenance at the Pursiala power plant. The contract subject to competition is 1 year in length with 3 possible option periods. The value of the acquisition is estimated to exceed the hthe EU threshold value of the Employment Act (€443,000, VAT 0%), if all option periods are used.
The power plant units of the Pursiala power plant undergo annual maintenance, which is generally scheduled from the beginning of May to the end of September. In connection with the maintenance work, power plants are checked, among other thingsthe condition of boiler fireboxes and the necessary maintenance work is performed, which also includes masonry work. Masonry work includes demolition, cleaning and masonry work. Most of the annual masonry work is aimed at the Pursiala 1 power plant. Masonry work may also occasionally require so-called. emergency work, i.e. work that could not be foreseen in advance and that must be started the next day.
The amount of masonry work is specified during each maintenance revision. The annual maintenance workload is the following on average: work management 100 h, masonry work 2,000 h and assistant work 1,000 h.renewable materials ESE-Energia Oy buys from the winner of the tender.
Masonry work and the materials used in it must meet the regulations and requirements of the standards and guidelines generally applied in the field.
