1 RELATED UNIT TO WHICH THE GENERAL TRANSPARENCY ANNOUNCEMENT APPLIES Polkka Pohjois-Karjala tukipalvelut oy produces meal, facility maintenance, cleaning and logistics services mainly for its owners, which are the welfare region of North Karelia - the cities of Siu sote, Joensuu, Kitee and Nurme, as well as Heinavesi, The municipalities of Ilomantsi, Tohmajarvi and Liperi. The purpose of the company is not to make a profit, and it does not distribute dividends to its owners.2 SERVICES OFFERED TO PROCUREMENT UNITS EXERCISED WITH CONTROLLING AUTHORITY Polkka Pohjois Karjala tukipalvelut oy provides catering, facility maintenance, cleaning and logistics services to its owners. From the beginning of 2023, Polkka:- provided meal and cleaning services for the North Karelia welfare region group and organized transport services in accordance with the Disability Services Act - provided meal, cleaning and logistics services for the Joensuu city group - provided the city of Kitee and Heinavesi, Ilomantsi and Tohmajarvi municipalities' catering and cleaning services- produced by Liper municipality's Honkalamme school catering and cleaning services3 SERVICES TO WHICH THE GENERAL TRANSPARENCY NOTICE APPLIES The transparency notice applies to Raakkyla syuerakotiyhdistys ry's Viherpolu and Viherlaakso service homes meal service, for which Polkka Pohjois Karjala tukipalvelut oy will provide meal services in the future.
