• Description:
• The North-Finnish Energy Center is requesting bids for mainly mechanical nature conservation work related to the management of traditional biotopes, beaches and bird waters in the Northern Ostrobothnia region in 2026 and in the option years 2027 and 2028. Implementation of the option years the customer decides before the end of the previous contract period. The option work sites will be implemented in the framework of financing and landowner agreements in 2026-2028, in addition to the designated work site entities. The implementation of the measures is mainly planned for July-September for the time between. The natural maintenance works to be procured include, for example, mowing crushing with and without collection of mowing residue, milling of the soil and root system, and milling of tree stumps. The measures are mainly aimed at seashores. The work has been divided by work items/work item sets containing several work items, and the bidder can bid for either a single or several work item sets of his choice. The work items are described in the tender request attachments and each contain one measure. The request for tenders also includes the service descriptions and quality requirements of the measures, a list of objects and quantities, a map attachment of the location of the objects, examples of similar work site plans implemented in 2025, and a draft contract. A year 2026 more detailed work site plans and pattern maps of the sites will be handed over later.
