• The procurement unit uses a device corresponding to the equipment to be acquired, which was acquired in 2025 and for which the so-called as an in-house development of the central methodology for drug and narcotics studies in terms of the unit's operation. The most important of these methods are validated and accredited according to standard ISO 17025 and used daily by the unit. In order to perform the tasks, it has since become necessary to acquire another device of the QTRAP type, corresponding to the current mass spectrometer, which is suitable directly and completely as a backup device for the current device. The supplier selected on the basis of a careful market survey is the only operator on the market who can deliver the device that is the object of procurement. The technical reason is the special interoperability requirements for liquid chromatograph-mass spectrometer devices (LC-QTrapMS/MS device) that must be met in order to ensure the interoperability of the device with the already existing device and the processes developed for it with. The device to be acquired now functions as a parallel device and as a spare device for the previously acquired mass spectrometer devices.
